Gani Nurmukhametov

Faculty: Data Analytics Assistant Professor
(WSU Everett)

Teaches: DATA 115, DATA 319, STAT 360

Education has always been my passion and my academic background includes the knowledge and experience I have received in various fields. A native of Kazan (Russia), I graduated from Kazan State University with a Specialist Diploma (a B.Sc. equivalent) in International Relations. I hold an MS in Applied Economics from St. Cloud State University and PhD in Economics from the University of Washington.

Upon completing a doctoral degree in 2023, I switched my colors to crimson and gray and joined Washington State University as a teaching assistant professor in Data Analytics (Go Cougs!). I teach courses in data analytics and statistics in both synchronous (students joining from different WSU campuses) and online (WSU Global Campus) formats, and work primarily on the WSU Everett campus.

I am very happy to discuss and help you learn about: the courses I’m teaching, data-related subjects, or academic life in general. Feel free to contact me to set up a meeting in person or through Zoom.
