Become a Mentor and Shape the Future
Are you passionate about your career and eager to make a positive impact on the next generation of professionals? Our mentorship program offers a rewarding opportunity to connect with talented students and share your expertise.
By becoming a mentor, you’ll:
What topics would be covered in the mentorship program?
Mentors can discuss any topic they feel is relevant to their mentees. Common topics include career advice (e.g., job applications, internships), navigating daily life, and sharing personal experiences.
Is this an August to May school-year-long commitment?
We suggest a commitment of approximately two hours over the academic year, with one hour per semester. However, mentors are free to dedicate more time if they desire.
Should mentors submit a brief summary introducing themselves to the students?
While not required, providing a brief summary can be helpful if mentors have specific preferences for their mentee. Otherwise, mentors and mentees will be paired randomly.
How many mentees would each mentor have?
We expect one mentee per mentor. However, mentors can choose to have more.
Would the mentors and mentees attend any events together?
Mentors are encouraged to join their mentees at virtual or in-person events, such as student-focused events or workshops, but participation is entirely optional.
