Herbie Fogt

Herbie first came to WSU in 2015 but transitioned into student services and advising work at the Global Campus in 2019. He grew up in Texas but lived across Europe before finding a home in the PNW. He is a trained academic historian concerning early-modern history of the family, religious toleration, and refugee crises. You can find him reading, back country hiking across the PNW, and finding peculiar things to photograph.

His goal as an advisor is to collaborate with students as they seek to turn their educational dreams into reality. He enjoys helping students through the hurdles of whatever the semester brings.
