Biography
Ally Avery is a teaching assistant professor at Washington State University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Music from Western Washington University. She has a Master of Science in Data Science from Northwestern University. She has worked at WSU since 2015. Prior to teaching in the Data Analytics program, she worked as the operations manager for the Washington State Twin Registry, where she was responsible for managing over 20 years’ worth of data, analyzing data and manuscript preparation, and working with students, postdocs, and investigators on developing new data collection projects or manuscripts.
